Sounds for freedom organizes a wonderful Workshop & concert for this summer.
Mireille Bittar is a Syrian-Dutch singer who studied at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. She is founder and artistic director of the Mozaïek ensemble and performed in many opera’s and on national television.
Together with guests musicians Feras Khouri (piano) and Modar Salama (percussion) she will give a music workshop and sings for the residents at the emergency shelter location for refugees in Amsterdam South. We also invite Dutch children to be there, so they can meet each other and make music together.
Because music is the best way to make new friends!
