The Mozaiek Ensemble performs traditional poetic Arabic songs straight from the heart, rearranged in a mix of western classical and eastern music. The program includes works by Albinoni, Mozart and classically arranged pieces by various Eastern composers from the 19th and 20th centuries including the Rahbani Brothers, Göksel Baktagir, Zaki Nassif, Muhammad Fulaifel, etc.
With Arabic Delight, we take you on a discovery of many beautiful things from the Middle East, performed by five professional musicians, four of whom are from Syria and one from Europe.
The artistic direction is in the hands of the young soprano Mireille Bittar and pianist/composer Feras Khouri.

Het Mozaiek Ensemble brengt traditionele poëtische Arabische liederen recht uit het hart, opnieuw gearrangeerd in een mix van westers klassieke- met oosterse muziek. Op het programma staan onder meer werken van Albinoni, Mozart en klassiek bewerkte stukken van diverse oosterse componisten uit de 19e en 20e eeuw waaronder de Rahbani Brothers, Göksel Baktagir, Zaki Nassif, Muhammad Fulaifel enz.
Met Arabic Delight nemen wij u mee op ontdekking naar veel moois uit het Midden-Oosten, uitgevoerd door vijf professionele musici waarvan vier uit Syrië en een uit Europa.
De artistieke leiding is in handen van de jonge sopraan Mireille Bittar en pianist/componist Feras Khouri.
